A Quarter Century of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game

In February 1999, entertainment company Konami launched a trading card game based on the game Duel Monsters, which had featured in Kazuki Takahashi’s manga series Yu-Gi-Oh! The game was named after the manga, and has since gone on to become to largest trading card game in the world, having sold more than 35 *billion* cards.

To celebrate turning 25, Konami are hosting the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game Quarter Century Celebration 3-day livestream event, a marathon stream that will run from 9am PST (5pm UTC) on Friday 16th February through to 11:59pm PST on Sunday 18th February (7:59am on Monday 19th February UTC). Featured in the event will be content spanning all corners of the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe, including notable players and content creators hosting tournaments, giveaways, charity drives and episodes from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series.
